"Part 1, flexible pipe line is tarred and wrapped in Britain. Shows large quantities of flexible steel pipe in a yard and scenes of pipe laying operations in the English Channel. Part 2, the Allied Control Commission (Gens. Eisenhower, Montgomery, Lattre de Tassigny, and Zhukov) meets in Berlin and signs papers partitioning Germany (June 5). Part 3 describes and shows test flights of the XR-8 helicopter and an Air Force helicopter. Part 4 describes and shows test firings and a large-scale model of the M-2 carbine. Part 5 (Reel 2), P-38's and A-20's bomb and strafe the Cagayan Valley on Luzon, Philippine Islands. The 25th Division takes Santa Fe (May 28) and attacks enemy caves. The 38th Division and the 149th Regiment capture a dam. Gen. Stilwell arrives at Div. Hdqrs. and confers with Gen. Chase. Shows and describes captured Japanese 90- and 150-mm. mortars. Part 6, in Burma, freight is moved from trains to trucks and carried on the Stilwell Road. Emphasizes Negro troop activities. Shows vehicle maintenance on the Road. Troops are examined at a hospital at Tagap; shows facilities of and activities at the hospital. Part 7 (Reel 3), supplies are unloaded on Okinawa. 6th Div. Marines…
