National Archives description: "On the ruined city of Stuttgart, Germany, shortly after the end of the war in Europe. Civilians dig in the bombed out ruins of the city. Women queue up to buy fresh vegetables. Girls sunbathe. Off duty U.S. soldiers swim in a pool. Shows a panorama of the ruined Helzemit gas works and the wrecked Ford plant. German workers manufacture toys and cameras in a small factory."
