National Archives description: "Shows an air panorama of jungles and mountains on New Georgia Island (Solomons archipelago). U.S. tanks move along a road; a field gun is fired and an officer observes Japanese positions through binoculars. U.S. fighter planes are fueled, armed, and take-off. Infantry jeeps, and heavy motorized equipment ford a river. Tanks and artillery fire. Half-tracks move up a hill."
