Special Bulletin #3033. National Archives description "On the logistics and psychology of war. Reel 1, a flashback shows the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Army recruits arrive at a training camp, and are inoculated and fed. Shows views of farm and factory activity in the U.S.; war materiel stacked on a dock in the U.S.; a British convoy at sea; U.S. troops embarking; landings in the Solomon islands and North Africa; and Army recruits discussing the war. Reel 2 stresses that the serviceman must understand why he fights, and points to the lack of such knowledge among personnel of the Army Service Forces. Staged scenes illustrate the treachery of the German soldier. Reel 3, foreign affairs experts (1944) discuss the coming invasion of Europe. War materiel is massed at a port in England. Hitler and Mussolini confer. Allied military men assemble. Shows Army Service Forces headquarters in the Pentagon building, Gen. Somervell, and brief scenes of the activities of the Quartermaster, Ordnance, Signal, Medical, and Transportation Corps. Reel 4, Army recruits go through an infiltration course, officers attend military government classes, invasion money is printed, and Allied troops are assembled…
