Synopsis A 1978 home movie of Dalles and Susan Schneider's son Austin's first few months of life featuring footage of his everyday life. This movie pictures him eating, crawling, and spending time on a swing. On one occasion he also accompanies his parents to pick rosehips, and on another, he spends time with his grandfather, Norman Hammer. There is also some footage of men, possibly Dalles and Norman, chopping wood. A majority of the footage is from September to October of 1978. Collection Description This film (Schneider_0006) is part of the Dalles and Susan Schneider Family Films . As the family historian it was Dalles' undertaking to collect, to preserve his family history and family tree and to tell the stories of lives and events in a meaningful, visual and linear way. A majority of the films cover family events, such as their wedding, celebrating the births of their children, baptisms, birthdays, holidays, family vacations, school programs, Sunday School programs, milestone events in their children's lives and daily living.
