Synopsis A 1992 home movie by Carmen Vázquez. It documents the second half of the Vázquez family party in Naranjito, where Carmen sings several songs. The video shows different family members during the gathering. On a different day, Carmen records her visits to some municipalities in Puerto Rico, including Naguabo and Aibonito. It also has footage of her with some family members in Old San Juan. The video ends with footage of the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew in Miami. Much of the footage was captured by Lt. Col. Juan Vázquez, and his family. He acquired movie and photo cameras during his military career and on the way to the Korean War, where he was a commander with the Korean Military Advisory Group (KMAG). He had also been with the decorated Borinqueneers (65 de Infantería) regiment, and then returned to Puerto Rico. His was one of the first citizen movie cameras on the island. Lt. Col.
