Synopsis Home movies of people walking on trail (possibly West Virginia). Collection Description This film (Core_2707) is part of the Dwight Core Collection . The Dwight Core Collection consists of home movies and amateur films in color, black and white, and were shot by Dwight L. Core, Sr. There are some reels of his son Dwight Core, Jr. as a child, who was born in 1960 with Down Syndrome. Dwight Sr.’s film, ‘Think of Me First as a Person’, about his son, was added to the National Film Registry in 2006. These home movies document the ‘ordinary’ life of a middle-class American family from the late 1940s through the early 1970s.
