About this film
This may very well be the first six hour compilation of public domain cartoons to hit the market. From relatively obscure Dan Nate, Inc., this tape boasts some of the oddest editing decisions imaginable, with many of the cartoons cut to ribbons ( I Wanna Be A Sailor , in particular, suffers greatly). This is likely due to one of the cartoons (the brilliant Popeye The Sailor Meets Sindbad The Sailor ) being double the length of a normal theatrical cartoon short, most of the rest of the cartoons suffer as a result.
