The Charmkins & Popeye Cartoons - WNEW-TV 5 (April 1985) [W/C]

About this film

From the same tape as the WCBS cartoons from 3/23/1985. This is, in my opinion, the cream of the crop on this tape, even though one commercial break is paused out completely. I think that this is the earliest Saturday morning content I currently own, as the Popeye cartoons most likely come from a local Saturday morning block. The info I have on the Charmkins is tentative as well, mostly because the one commercial break that was paused out most likely contained a station ID and some promos for the locally syndicated shows, but, as we can see here, that clearly isn't on here. Nonetheless, like I said with the WCBS portion of this tape, the commercials that are on this tape make up for the one lost commercial break, including a Cocoa Pebbles commercial that is so cheesy, it would be wrong to hate it! Enjoy, everyone, and stay safe! ~ bd
