A series of excerpts from 1954 television. Drawn almost entirely from variety shows. Most of the shows excerpted aired live. I give a 20-second introduction at the start, and look like I had just been hit by a truck, and use a particularly awful double-negative. The clips are from US series....I was unable to get clips from TV from the UK because so little survives of their 1954 TV programming, and of course shows from other countries are virtually impossible to get. (note: while these clips are taken from public domain shows, they feature cast members performing copyrighted compositions)
