About this film
A film of a screening programme in the rural communities of the Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales. This research followed the work the unit carried out on the incidence of tuberculosis and lung disease in 1951 and 1953 with the mining communities of the Rhondda Fach. There are shots of the TB detection van around the valleys and the screening programme in progress.
